Then Susan, who has ambitions to sing on stage like Elaine Paige, launched into the West End anthem I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables.

It just goes to show – you never know what amazing things are hiding just below the surface of the ordinary people in our lives.

This is reminiscent of the stunning first performance of the eventual Winner of 2007’s Britain’s Got Talent – Paul Potts – a mobile phone salesman.
